Description
A closed, hardcover book depicted with a red cover on most platforms. Commonly used for various content concerning reading, writing, learning, and schooling. May also be used as a red accent color. Apple’s cover features the easter egg “Vol. 1 by John Appleseed.” Apple’s original design for this emoji said “Vol. 3 by John Appleseed,” however now this title appears on Apple’s π Blue Book design. Google’s design previously featured a brown cover with a red bookmark. Samsung’s artwork once featured a blue cover printed with the initials HYDM, though its latest design has a red cover.
