🦅 Eagle
Also known as: Bald Eagle
Description
A bald eagle, the majestic bird of prey with brown feathers and distinctive white head. Generally depicted facing left, with its wings outspread and talons out, as if swooping down to seize prey. Commonly associated with the United States, whose national emblem is the bald eagle. May be used for other eagles and birds of prey (e.g., hawks). Google’s eagle used to have its wings tucked in, as if perched on a branch. Twitter’s design shows only the bust of an eagle. Apple’s 📰 Newspaper features its eagle on its masthead.
