Description

       Automatic split hex mesher. Refines and snaps to surface

Name

       snappyHexMesh - part of OpenFOAM (The Open Source CFD Toolbox).

Options

-casedir
              Specify case directory to use (instead of the cwd)

       -checkGeometry
              Check all surface geometry for quality

       -decomposeParDictfile
              Use specified file for decomposePar dictionary

       -dictfile
              Use alternative snappyHexMeshDict

       -dry-run
              Check case set-up only using a single time step

       -outFilefile
              Name of the file to save the simplified surface to

       -overwrite
              Overwrite existing mesh/results files

       -parallel
              Run in parallel [Paralleloption]-patches(patch0..patchN)
              Only triangulate selected patches (wildcards supported)

       -profiling
              Activate application-level profiling

       -regionname
              Specify alternative mesh region

       -surfaceSimplifyboundBox
              Simplify the surface using snappyHexMesh starting from a boundBox

       -doc   Display documentation in browser

       -help  Display short help and exit

       -help-full
              Display full help and exit

   ADVANCEDOPTIONS-debug-switchname=val
              Specify the value of a registered debug switch. Default is 1 if the value is omitted. (Can be used
              multiple times)

       -fileHandlerhandler
              Override the file handler type

       -hostRoots((host1dir1)..(hostNdirN))
              Per-host  slave  root  directories for distributed running. The host specification can be a regex.
              [Paralleloption]-info-switchname=val
              Specify the value of a registered info switch. Default is 1 if the value is omitted. (Can be  used
              multiple times)

       -libname
              Additional library or library list to load (can be used multiple times)

       -opt-switchname=val
              Specify  the  value  of  a registered optimisation switch (int/bool). Default is 1 if the value is
              omitted. (Can be used multiple times)

       -roots(dir1..dirN)
              Slave root directories for distributed running [Paralleloption]-doc-source
              Display source code in browser

       -help-compat
              Display compatibility options and exit

       -help-man
              Display full help (manpage format) and exit

       -help-notes
              Display help notes (description) and exit

   COMPATIBILITYOPTIONS-noFunctionObjects
              This option is ignored
