fitstopnm

• Convert a FITS file to a PNM image:

fitstopnm {{path/to/file.fits}} > {{path/to/output.pnm}}

• Convert the image on the specified position of the third axis in the FITS file:

fitstopnm {{[-i|-image]}} {{z_position}} {{path/to/file.fits}} > {{path/to/output.pnm}}
