       This  document,  and  the package it describes, will undoubtedly contain bugs and other problems.  Please
       report such in the category bench of the TcllibTrackers [http://core.tcl.tk/tcllib/reportlist].   Please
       also report any ideas for enhancements you may have for either package and/or documentation.

       When proposing code changes, please provide unifieddiffs, i.e the output of diff-u.

       Note  further  that  attachments  are strongly preferred over inlined patches. Attachments can be made by
       going to the Edit form of the ticket immediately after its creation, and then using the left-most  button
       in the secondary navigation bar.

Description

       This package provides a command for reading benchmark results from files, sockets, etc.

       A  reader  interested  in  the creation, processing or writing of such results should go and read bench-Processingbenchmarksuites instead.

       If the bench language itself is the actual interest please start with the benchlanguageintroduction and
       then proceed from there to the formal benchlanguagespecification.

Public Api

::bench::in::readfile
              This command reads a benchmark result from the specified file and returns it as  its  result.  The
              command understands the three formats created by the commands

              bench::out::raw
                     Provided by package bench.

              bench::out::csv
                     Provided by package bench::out::csv.

              bench::out::text
                     Provided by package bench::out::text.

       and automatically detects which format is used by the input file.
